Barbara Wagner, of counsel

Barbara Wagner, a partner in the law firm of Wagenheim & Wagner, P.A., is “of counsel” to the Winer Law Group. Her practice focuses on workers’ compensation and appellate matters. Ms. Wagner earned Board Certification by the Florida Bar in Workers’ Compensation (1993-2016) and Appellate Practice (1996-2016). She has received Martindale-Hubbell’s top “AV” rating for high professional and ethical standards.

Ms. Wagner earned a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA in 1976, and graduated summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in Ft. Lauderdale. She served as law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Lurana Snow from 1986-1987, and has practiced workers’ compensation law since 1988. Ms. Wagner is admitted to the Florida Bar (1982) and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Barbara is a member of both the National Football League Players’ Association and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association Panels of Workers’ Compensation Attorneys. She served for over 20 years on the Moot Court Committee for the Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute’s Annual Educational Conference. She has given presentations and served as a panelist regarding workers’ compensation and appellate practice at numerous conferences and seminars sponsored by the Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, Sports Lawyers’ Association, and the NFL Players’ Association Panel of Workers’ Compensation Attorneys.  Barbara also served for several years on the Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims. She volunteers in the community as a reading tutor and youth mentor.
