Barbara Wagner Attorney a partner in the law firm of Wagenheim & Wagner, P.A., is also “of counsel” to Haliczer, Pettis & Schwamm, P.A. and the Winer Law Group. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and appellate matters. Ms. Wagner is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Workers’ Compensation (since 1993) and Appellate Practice (1996-2016).* She has received Martindale-Hubbell’s top “AV” rating for high professional and ethical standards.

Ms. Wagner earned a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA in 1976, and graduated summa cum laude, first in her class, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Ft. Lauderdale. She served as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Lurana Snow from 1986 to 1987, and has practiced workers’ compensation law since 1988. Ms. Wagner is admitted to the Florida Bar (1982), and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Barbara Wagner Attorney is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and the Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association. She serves on both the National Football League Players’ Association and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association Panels of Workers’ Compensation Attorneys. She has served for over 20 years on the Moot Court Committee for the Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute’s Annual Educational Conference. She has given presentations and served as a panelist regarding workers’ compensation and appellate practice at numerous conferences and seminars sponsored by the Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, Sports Lawyers’ Association, and the NFL Players’ Association Panel of Workers’ Compensation Attorneys. Barbara Wagner Attorney serves on the Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims.

In the community, Ms. Wagner participates as a “Reading Pal” with United Way of Broward County and has volunteered as a mentor with Take Stock in Children. She is Secretary of the Board of Directors of the PACE Broward Center for Girls, serves on the Development Committee, and participates in their “Books & Breakfast” program with the Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association.
